Privacy Policy

Applies to the Buddy Darrell and The Sound Shed Boys website only.
Last updated: 12 August 2026

The short version. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers. It has no user accounts and no payments. The contact form sends what you type to this site's own server, which forwards it as a single email through Brevo, a transactional email provider. Nothing you submit is stored in a database on this site.

1. What this site is

This is the website for Buddy Darrell and The Sound Shed Boys, an active creative entertainment project built and hosted by Cat Sock Studio. This policy describes what is actually implemented on the live site.

2. What this website collects

There is no database and no user accounts. The only thing this site actively does with visitor input is relay a contact-form submission by email.

FeatureOn this site?Notes
CookiesNoNone are set. No consent banner is needed because there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics or trackingNoNo Google Analytics, no pixels, no heatmaps, no session recording.
Contact formYesWhat you type is sent to this site's own server, then delivered as an email through Brevo. Nothing is written to a database; once the email is handed to Brevo, this site keeps no copy.
User accountsNoNot offered.
PaymentsNoNo payment processor is connected.
Embedded maps or videoNoNone present.
Social media embedsNoSocial icons are static placeholders, not live feeds or embedded widgets.
Web fontsYesTypefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which may see your IP address and browser details when the font loads.
HostingYesThis site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, which processes standard technical request data (IP address, timestamp, page requested) to serve the page.

3. The contact form

The "Contact the band" form sends your name, contact detail, and message to a server-side function on this site, which forwards it to Brevo for delivery as an email. This is a message channel, not a booking system — see the Terms of Use for what submitting it does and doesn't do. Brevo acts as the delivery provider and holds its own sending records under its own privacy policy. This site itself stores nothing: there is no database, and no copy of your submission is kept here once it has been handed to Brevo. A hidden field on the form exists only to catch automated spam submissions and is not for visitor use.

What's then held is simply the email in the recipient's inbox, covered by section 4 below.

4. Information you send directly

If you submit the contact form or reach out by phone, whoever receives it will have your name and whatever contact detail and message you provided. That information is used only to respond to your message, and is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers.

5. Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

6. When this policy will need to change

Important. This policy describes the site exactly as implemented today. It must be rewritten if any of the following are added: analytics or tracking, social media integrations that collect data, a merch or ordering link that processes payments or accounts, or any other connected service beyond the contact-form email relay described above.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy can be directed to the band at booking@soundshedboys.com, or by phone at (940) 242-1832.
